Born in Abano Terme on 2 July 2000, Angelica Soffia made a name for herself as a valuable and versatile prospect from an early age. Indeed, she's capable of playing in midfield and at right-back. In February 2016, she made her Serie A debut for AGSM Verona, where, over the course of three seasons, she bagged seven goals in 55 appearances and played in the Women's Champions League for the first time. In the summer of 2018, she joined Roma, where she continued to make strides forward: during her four-year spell at the Giallorosse, she scored twice in 85 matches and won the 2020/21 Coppa Italia. Her performances also resulted in her being called up to represent Italy. As of June 2024, she's made 12 appearances for the Azzurre, for whom she bagged a brace in a friendly against Austria in June 2021. She joined AC Milan in the summer of 2022, making 45 appearances and scoring three goals in her first two seasons, earning a well-deserved contract extension to June 2027.
