Chaka Traorè was born in Attecoube, Côte d'Ivoire, on 23 December 2004. He moved to Italy at a young age, starting out with U.S. Audace before moving to Parma in 2017/18. He impressed with the Gialloblù at youth level - most notably the Under-17s and Primavera – and also made his professional debut with the Emilian outfit, first in the Coppa Italia against Lazio in January 2021 and then in the league against AC Milan in April 2021, becoming the first player born in 2004 to play in Serie A. It wouldn't be long before he crossed paths with AC Milan again as he joined Coach Giunti's Primavera in August 2021. He would go on to finish the season with nine goals and five assists in 30 matches in all competitions. He achieved similar numbers in 2022/23 as well, scoring eight and providing six assists in 30 games as the Rossoneri made it all the way to the UEFA Youth League semi-finals. At the end of the year, he signed a new deal lasting until 2028 and was brought into the First Team fold.
