Born in Loznica (Serbia) on 23 December 1997, Luka Jović's football career commenced at Crvena Zvezda, making his debut with the First team in May 2014. In the 2016 January transfer window he moved to Portugal, arriving at Benfica where he debuted in the Champions League and won five trophies including the Primeira Liga (2). He started a new adventure in the summer of 2017 with Eintracht Frankfurt. This has been Luka's longest and most fruitful spell at a club so far: 40 goals and 10 assists across two seasons and one DFB-Pokal trophy.

In 2019, a call from Real Madrid arrived. There, he often came on as a substitute, before being loaned back to Frankfurt, winning one Champions League and two La Liga trophies. He arrived in Italy in July 2022, at Fiorentina, and contributed 13 goals in 50 appearances in an excellent season for Italiano's side that saw them in the finals of the Coppa Italia and the Conference League. His international career is also noteworthy, he has already played in two World Cups (2018 and 2022) for Serbia.
