MILAN FUTURO v SPAL: MATCH PREVIEW

Midweek match for Bonera's lads: everything about matchday 6

It's time for the first midweek match in Serie C as Milan Futuro faces another big side on matchday 6 in Group B: SPAL. In reality, this will be the young Rossoneri's fourth game in the last 12 days given the rescheduled fixture against Torres last week: another chance to grow and hunt down the first win of the campaign. As we get closer to kick-off on Thursday 26 September at 18:30 CEST, here is our Match Preview.

LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO
After two consecutive away games, the Rossoneri are back in front of friendly faces: in the 180 minutes following the Ascoli match, Coach Bonera's lads deserved much more than the single point picked up given the chances created in Sardinia and in the last game against Rimini, as well as the defensive performances. No one is suspended or on a booking for the side on the hunt for their first campaign win in the last home game of the month, the first at the Chinetti in Solbiate Arno.

LATEST FROM SPAL
The Estensi's season began on the back foot - also due to a three-point deduction in the standings - but after winning one point in the first 270 minutes of league action, they bagged two big wins against Sestri Levante (3-1 away) and Carpi (2-1 at home) last time out, on a Monday, as for Milan Futuro. Results thanks to a certain duo that found their way onto the scoresheet in both games: the 2006-born youth product, Rao and 40-year-old Mirco Antenucci, Biancazzurri captain and leading top goalscorer in Group B with 4 goals. Aside from this pair, we should also keep an eye on former Serie A players El Kaddouri and Büchel in the side that have the best attack and, alongside Legnago, the worst defence in the group.

"We've watched the Milan Futuro matches, the league standings aren't a true reflection of the performances", SPAL Head Coach Andrea Dossena said. "They only have two points, but even against Rimini they had four clear goalscoring opportunities: I'm convinced that when they turn things around, they'll be a danger for everyone. They are young lads, but the quality of their performances is very high. We are well, working mentally and physically. We have the best attacking record but unfortunately the worst defensive record, but if we find a better balance between the two phases, we can do some important things".

WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV
